Circus

Well, I must admit, it wasn’t Ringling Bros. There was one ring – the grass was under our feet and under the carpet in the ring, but it was a circus, complete with a clown, an acrobatic event that both opened and closed the ceremony and apparently new this year, the bird and cat show – where a house cat walks around the ring and jumps (when swatted gently on the rear) over several fences….I am smiling as I write even now. Cotton candy was a new discovery – Laura didn’t dare eat it, but the others did warm up and give it a try!


We were even interviewed by a TV crew!
