Laura's birthday

Oh my stars, I am so behind! Laura is the oldest in the house and also the oldest in the Janos and girls family. She turned 12 this past Tuesday. I've worked to establish a birthday pattern to be followed by each child and she added a new twist to it. She went upstairs and got dressed in her black Christmas dress with white tights and waited for us to yell for her! LAURA! She was overwhelmed by the noise and chaos and Angela kindly offered to sit by her as she ate cake. Her birthday gift was a wanna-be Barbie Mom, Dad and Baby chosen specifically to allow her to interact with adults as she played. She loved it. She was also given a flower (trying to help the girls realize and value their feminity) from her brother, who was proud to play a part in that. La Multi Ani, Laura!
